Kathryn Campbell is a book designer in Olympia, Washington. She has designed book covers and interior text for publishing companies large and small, as well as independent authors. She specializes in book cover and interior book design, but also designs logos and marketing materials. She has a love of books and reading that started at a very young age and she truly feels that by reading a good book, the reader can live the author’s story on a personal level. Kathryn loves watching writers evolve into published authors.
Kathryn holds a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) and has over 25 years of experience in the field of book design. For many of those years she was employed by Gorham Printing, a Pacific Northwest book printing company. She also worked as a contractor for such clients as The Office of the Secretary of State (Washington) and Microsoft. During Kathryn’s many years of working with authors and their books, she has designed thousands of covers in addition to book layout. Today many of these books, both novels and histories, etc., can be found at Amazon or Barnes & Noble. Her talent and attention to detail along with her creativeness can be an asset to any author wanting to have their special book designed and presented in the best possible way.
Kathryn and her husband Kevin live in a home they built themselves in Western Washington. They have three grown adult children. They enjoy hiking, camping, and golfing during the summer months, and watching Cougar football games and reading good books in front of the fireplace during the rainy Washington winter months.
