The story of the sinking of the Prinsendam off the coast of Alaska in the 1980s, this book gives an hour-by-hour chronology of the events that led to the accident, as well as the aftermath. Available photos to use for the book were minimal, and the best one was too horizontal to lend any drama at all to the cover. Tipping the photo provided action and also implies the angle of the ship going down. It also enabled the photo to be as large as possible. Three words of four letters each enabled the type to be dramatically stacked.
